England V Italy Mental Breakdown

The law, when ruck, when maul?
Eddie appalled!
Their gall, makes stutter and stall.
By Connor pride and honour
The  way  O'Shea
Out foxed, out thought
And taught a lesson;
Adapt to beat the lesser.
Not heinous, now lay off
The creator of this chaos.
Gave slip, a bloody lip
England win ugly but this ain't rugby!

I am the referee not coach,
The effigy beyond reproach!
60 minutes, England flustered.
Not quite busted, but finally mustered
The wherewithal, composure,
To overcome exposure.
Gauntlet meltdown,
Mental breakdown,
Confusion in the ranks
We'll learn. So Italy thanks!

Points to Prove Eng v Italy

Italy come out all guns firing
Knowledge of English inside wiring
With a point to prove

England aim to shut the door
Even try and wipe the floor
With bonus point to prove

Take them on up front in scrum
Tight five Italian is route one
With a point to prove

At the breakdown is the key
Strength in depth will England see
Their bonus point to prove

England backline can do the damage
Possess the skills to run them ragged
Make Eddie Jones approve

The Bonus Point

Are we here to wipe the floor?
Respect will show much more
Rooted deep! But they must reap
The bonus point.

Work the phases,
Take the praises;
Patience is a virtue,
Wear the shirt you
Were presented,
Do not be resented.
Do not see as onus,
Don't focus on the bonus.
Accuracy that's pinpoint,
Will help you make your point!

Not arrogant, but confident
Humble, yet stay dominant.
Jones has ranted
Nothing for granted
Finishers be extinguishers
Italy threat diminishers
Wear with pride the Rose
White shirt at home for those,
Chosen, earned, awarded.
The bonus point rewarded.
Graft and earn: the order!

Wales V England result

Robbed, stolen at the death?
Well worked, deserved took the last breath!
Daly mail train saves the day.
The message: you must put away.
Lawes taken into their own hands,
Get out of jail free for this band,
The grit of those who don't know defeat,
But this the last one, be no repeat.
Scant reward, returns diminishes
Armed in reserve a team of finishes!
Jaws of defeat, a win retrieve,
It's all because you now believe,
You have the guile, the strength within
You know Jones' mantra. Don't give in!
End to end game, all in between
Sweet victory in Cardiff means sixteen!

In the balance

Its in the balance

We can be victorious
On this road to grand slam glory
England be beaten
Like 2013
A punished pack
Humiliated backs
But I never ever thought
In Cardiff
This never ending run
On Welsh home soil
Where cauldron boils
The daffodil, the leek
The dragons speak
Aside the Taff
Song Sosban fach
The strong Welsh will
I refuse to believe
This game could go either way
I shall have my say
One way Welsh victory
Come on Wales
But I never said
It would be easy

Now read from the bottom

Wales v England 2017

Ugly rugby, not pristine;
Beautiful victory makes fifteen!
Next to Wales for sweet sixteen,
But pride of the dragon lies in between.

Smouldering furnace in Principality,
Blue touch paper lit in Olympico Italy
Inches from the bonus score,
Hard yards in victory, but oh one more!

Head to Taff along M4,
Daffodils raise through frozen floor,
Cross Offa's dyke off they went
Chepstow Castle as they pass through Gwent.

No what ifs to be left in Cardiff,
Take the chance to end their party.
Alun Wynn Jones, the mighty warrior,
Can lead Wales to make England sorrier.

They crossed the bridge, with win in minds
Can Welsh power tan their behinds?
And send them back across the Severn,
Ears ringing with the Bread of Heaven!

Nothing forgone in South Glamorgan
But can the chariot march on and on?
Take out the leek, the daffodil,
The passion and their iron will?

No wilting heads; pride in red jersey,
The scalp, the chance to end the worthy
Unbeaten run of England foes,
Grand slam hopes is up for those;

But preparation is, the key for Jones
The plan, his team, the faith he owns.
Grind out a win their inner strength
Not pretty but they can go the length:

The pageantry of St George, all England knows
Parade the chariot, how they will goad
From ugly duckling to flourishing Rose
Beauty's in the eye of those. Behold!
